<description>
A workshop has been scheduled for the release of the next version of Stock Synthesis (SS_v3).
The workshop will be held Jan 21-22, 2009 in the Traynor seminar room at the Alaska Fisheries Science Center, Seattle, WA.
Sessions will begin at 9 AM each day. Primary goals for this workshop will be presentation of the new SS features,
especially those most pertinent for west coast groundfish assessments; presentation of the graphical user interface;
presentation of the updated output processor in R; and group discussion of consistent approaches to use of standard SS features
such as selectivity functions, spawner-recruitment estimation and parameter bounds and priors.
A limited number of WEBEX connection to other NMFS science centers will be supported. If you or a member of your staff are interested in attending or linking, please reply to richard.methot@noaa.gov.
